Where is the Lorton Supercharger?
Tesla's post names only the town and the stall count. The crowd-sourced Supercharger tracker supercharge.info, checked at 6:55 a.m. ET on November 2, lists the site at Lorton Marketplace, 9409 Lorton Market St, Lorton, VA. Lorton sits on the I-95 corridor between Alexandria and Woodbridge, which makes this a useful stop for drivers heading between Washington, D.C., and Richmond.
How fast does it charge?
According to the same tracker listing, the site has 12 V4 stalls rated at up to 325 kW, including one accessible stall, and it opened on October 30, 2026. Those details come from supercharge.info, not from Tesla's post. A stall's rating is its maximum: how fast your car actually charges depends on the car and its battery temperature. Our explainer on why most Teslas can't use a Supercharger's full rated power covers what to expect.
Can non-Tesla EVs charge there?
The tracker lists the site as open to other EVs with NACS plugs. Tesla's post doesn't say either way, so confirm in the Tesla app before you plan on it. Our guide to non-Tesla EVs at Superchargers explains how it works.
What it means for owners
Before this opening, supercharge.info listed the closest open sites as a 12-stall Supercharger at Wegmans in Alexandria (Hilltop Village Center) and five sites in Woodbridge, plus the 20-stall site at Springfield Town Center. Twelve more stalls in Lorton give drivers on this stretch of I-95 one more option when those sites are busy, which matters on holiday travel days.

Site details beyond Tesla's post come from supercharge.info as of 6:55 a.m. ET, November 2, 2026. Pricing at this site was not listed in either source; check the Tesla app.
