As of October 20, 2026. Tesla software update 2026.38.5.10 has started to appear, and it carries a new Full Self-Driving (Supervised) build. It follows 2026.38.5.1, which brought FSD v14.3 Lite to older Model S and Model X cars.
What is in 2026.38.5.10
According to the release notes listed by Not a Tesla App, the update is dated October 20, 2026 and includes:
- HW4 cars: FSD (Supervised) v14.3.13 and Automatic Collision Evasion.
- HW3 cars: FSD v14.3 Lite, with Start Self-Driving from Park, Arrival Options, Speed Profiles and interface improvements.
- Both: Halloween Mode, Emergency Drive Away, Supercharger site maps and Set Arrival Energy, carried over from the 2026.38.5 line.
The FSD v14.3.13 notes mention less unnecessary lane biasing, less minor tailgating and changed driver monitoring sensitivity. The update also lists "important security fixes and improvements" without detail.
Who gets it and when
It is at the very start of its rollout. Not a Tesla App showed 0% of the fleet and a single install in the TeslaFi sample on October 20. Tesla sends updates in waves by hardware, region and software version, so do not expect it in your car yet. Check Controls > Software in your car for what is offered to you.
What it means for owners
If you already have 2026.38.5.1, this looks like a point release that updates the FSD build, not a new feature set. Tesla has not said which cars are first in line. Halloween Mode itself is covered in our 2026.38.3 guide. We will update this page if Tesla's own notes or the rollout figures change.
