If your home’s electrical panel already has enough spare capacity, a simple installation can come in around $700–$1,400 total, including the charger itself.
The panel upgrade is what changes the math
The biggest cost swing comes down to whether your electrical panel can handle the added 240-volt circuit without modification. If it can’t, a panel upgrade adds roughly $1,000–$3,000 on top of everything else, according to the same guide — and a separate breakdown from EVIQO (updated June 2026) puts a full 60A-to-200A panel upgrade at $4,500–$8,500 in more involved cases.
