Tesla’s 2026.32.3 update redesigns the touchscreen’s wheel picker and adds Apple Music library search
Tesla has begun rolling out software version 2026.32.3, a release that reworks how owners browse wheel options on the touchscreen and adds a faster way to search a personal Apple Music library. The update started reaching vehicles on September 9, 2026, according to Tesla’s official release notes tracked by Not a Tesla App.
A redesigned Wheel & Tire screen
The most visible change is in Controls > Service, where the Wheel & Tire configuration menu previously used a plain dropdown list next to a small wheel thumbnail. In 2026.32.3, Tesla replaced it with a full-color visual grid that shows each wheel style two ways — with its stock aerodynamic cover attached and without — so owners can compare, for example, how 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 wheels look bare next to the covered version, according to Not a Tesla App’s first look at the update. The setting isn’t purely cosmetic: Tesla uses the selected wheel configuration to calculate range estimates in the car’s Energy app, since removing an aero cover increases drag and reduces highway efficiency.
Apple Music library search, and a European recall fix
Owners who use Apple Music in their Tesla can now go to Search, select Apple Music, then tap Library to find saved songs, albums, and playlists directly, instead of scrolling through global search results, per the official release notes. The update also carries an over-the-air fix for European vehicles under EU Recall Submission 2026_103555, restoring compliance with UNECE Regulation No. 135 on side-impact standards — Tesla’s notes say no owner action is required beyond installing the update. The release also includes unspecified “security fixes and improvements.”
As of September 9, 2026, 2026.32.3 had reached roughly 9.5% of the tracked fleet, per Not a Tesla App’s rollout tracker, with the broader 2026.32 branch also carrying FSD (Supervised) v14.3.9 for Hardware 4 vehicles and v14.2 Lite for older Hardware 3 cars. Tesla typically expands a release gradually by region and hardware tier, so owners who haven’t seen 2026.32.3 in their update queue yet should expect it in the coming weeks rather than assume it’s available fleet-wide already.
