Tesla’s 2026.32 update adds a built-in ad blocker to the browser.

Tesla’s 2026.32 software update adds a built-in ad blocker to the car’s web browser, along with a redesigned wheel-selection screen and the ability to search your Apple Music library from the car. It’s rolling out gradually, so it may not be on your car yet.

What the ad blocker does

A new “AD” button in the top-right corner of the in-car browser strips out banners, pop-up overlays, and floating videos before they load, rather than just hiding them after the page renders. That should make articles and other sites load faster and use less data over your car’s cellular or Wi-Fi connection. There’s no settings menu yet to allow-list specific sites or fine-tune what gets blocked — it’s on or off. Tesla says the change helps most on older cars with the Intel Atom-based MCU2 infotainment computer, which tend to struggle loading ad-heavy pages, though every model gets the feature.

What else is in 2026.32

The 2026.32.3 release notes list a handful of other changes. The Wheel & Tire screen under Controls > Service has been redesigned, swapping a plain dropdown list for a visual grid that shows each wheel option as a full-color render, bare and with the stock aero cover attached. Apple Music integration now lets you search your library directly instead of only browsing playlists. The update also carries a recall submission for Model 3 and Model Y in the EU (restoring compliance with UNECE Regulation No. 135, addressed automatically — no service visit needed) and general security fixes.

When you’ll get it

Tesla rolls out software in waves, and this one is early. As of September 9, 2026, 2026.32.3 had reached about 2.2% of the fleet, per Tesla’s own release notes. If it’s not on your car, there’s nothing to troubleshoot — check for it under Controls > Software, and it should arrive over the coming weeks.
