TL;DR
- Tesla’s official Robotaxi account says rides open in Fort Worth, Texas, starting Monday, November 2, at 6 a.m.
- Tesla’s launch map covers central Fort Worth, roughly from Saginaw in the north to Benbrook and Forest Hill in the south, and from White Settlement east to Haltom City.
- Tesla hasn’t said yet whether Fort Worth rides use Model Y, Cybercab, or both, or what fares and hours look like. We’ll update as details land.
Tesla’s Robotaxi service is crossing the Metroplex. Late Sunday night, the official @robotaxi account on X posted: “Robotaxi available in Fort Worth starting tomorrow, 6am.” The post went up at 11:36 p.m. Central, so “tomorrow” means Monday, November 2.

When does Tesla Robotaxi start in Fort Worth?
Monday, November 2, 2026, at 6 a.m. Central, per Tesla’s post. That matches the 6 a.m. start Tesla uses in its other Robotaxi cities, but Tesla didn’t publish Fort Worth closing hours in the post.
Where can you ride? The Fort Worth launch geofence
The map attached to Tesla’s post shows one launch geofence centered on downtown Fort Worth. Going by the map:
- North: up toward Saginaw, with a small extension along I-35W.
- East: to about Haltom City.
- West: to about White Settlement.
- South: down near Benbrook on the west side and Forest Hill on the east.
Those are our reads of Tesla’s map, not street-level boundaries. Open the Tesla Robotaxi app to see the exact area before you plan a trip.
Is it Model Y or Cybercab in Fort Worth?
Tesla didn’t say. Here’s the context: Tesla has run unsupervised Model Y Robotaxis in Dallas since April 2026, per robotaxistats, and on its Q3 earnings call Tesla said public Cybercab rides would start in Dallas in November, CyberCab.News reported. Fort Worth wasn’t named on that call. Until Tesla confirms which vehicle is running, treat the Fort Worth launch as Robotaxi service, not a confirmed Cybercab launch.
What we don’t know yet
- Fares and whether any launch pricing applies.
- Closing hours in Fort Worth.
- Whether rides can cross between Fort Worth and Dallas.
- Fleet size and whether rides are open to everyone in the app on day one.
How to ride a Tesla Robotaxi
Rides are booked in the Tesla Robotaxi app. If you’re new to it, our breakdown of FSD (Supervised) vs a Robotaxi ride explains what’s different from driving your own Tesla. For the latest service changes, see our last Robotaxi update, and for the purpose-built car, our Cybercab hub and what Cybercab does for riders in Austin.
This is a developing story. Details beyond Tesla’s post and launch map will be added once Tesla confirms them.
