The listing says you can lower the window with the shade up, keeping out mosquitoes and dust, so it's the closest thing we found to a fitted bug screen for cracking a window overnight. It's see-through mesh, not blackout, and it sticks on with 3M tape, so treat it as a semi-permanent install.
