What actually changed in Tesla’s latest FSD update, and what owners are noticing

· 2 min read

Tesla’s FSD (Supervised) v14.3.10 shipped on September 19 inside firmware 2026.27.10 for Hardware 4 vehicles in North America. It’s a smaller, targeted update rather than a ground-up rewrite — and it’s rolling out gradually, so check your car’s software version before assuming your Tesla already has it.

What actually shipped

According to Tesla’s own release notes, v14.3.10 reduces unnecessary lane biasing and minor tailgating behavior, makes parking spot selection and maneuvering more decisive, improves the accuracy of the parking location pin shown on the map, and sharpens how the car responds to emergency vehicles, school buses, and right-of-way violators. It also improves how the car handles brief system hiccups, aiming to recover control automatically rather than handing it back to the driver.

Those changes build on the work Tesla shipped in v14.3.9 earlier in September, including a rewritten AI compiler and a new vision encoder that Tesla says cut reaction time by roughly 20%.

What one owner noticed after driving with it

Dirty Tesla, who posts frequent real-world FSD testing, published a video on September 29 going over complaints the update actually addressed after spending time behind the wheel with it:

That’s one driver’s experience on one set of roads, not a substitute for Tesla’s own release notes above, and supervised FSD still requires your full attention regardless of how it drives in someone else’s video.
