Tesla’s official Model Y L accessories are here. Here’s what’s available and what it costs.

Tesla has started selling official Model Y L accessories through its online shop, giving owners of the six-seat, long-wheelbase Model Y a first round of fitted gear as US deliveries ramp up.

The lineup, reported by Drive Tesla Canada on September 17, 2026, based on listings in the US Tesla Shop, covers protection, storage, and cargo-carrying pieces sized specifically for the Model Y L rather than the standard Model Y.

What’s available and what it costs

Here’s what Tesla is currently selling for the Model Y L, according to the Shop listings:

• Roof rack — $500. Rated to carry up to 165 lbs (75 kg).
• Outdoor car cover — $195. Fitted to the Model Y L’s longer body.
• Parcel shelf — $125. Mounts behind the third row for extra enclosed storage.
• Rear door sill guards — $95.
• Moulded trunk storage bins (pair) — $80.
• All-weather interior, trunk, and seatback liners, plus front, glass-roof, and rear liftgate sunshades, at prices not listed in the report.

All of it is cut to the Model Y L’s dimensions, which run longer than a standard Model Y to make room for the third row, so accessories built for the regular Model Y — including liners and sunshades you may already own from a previous Tesla — won’t fit the same way.

What’s missing so far

The US lineup is thinner than what’s available in China, where Tesla also sells the Model Y L. Drive Tesla Canada notes the US shop is still missing a few items Chinese buyers can get, including privacy shades for the side windows and a Model Y L air mattress for camping. Tesla hasn’t said whether or when those will come to the US shop.

Should you buy now or wait

If you’re taking delivery of a Model Y L soon and want basic protection — floor and trunk liners, sunshades — there’s no reason to wait, since those are the accessories most owners buy in the first weeks anyway. The roof rack and car cover are worth holding off on unless you have an immediate need, since Tesla’s shop lineup for new models tends to expand in the months after launch, and earlier buyers of other Tesla models have seen additional options and occasional price adjustments show up later. Canada doesn’t have Model Y L orders open yet, so accessory availability there will lag the US by some margin.
